Welcome to the newest realease in the Professor Layton series of games for the Nintendo DS/DSi.

This new game is set three years before the Curious Village. Professor Layton recieves a letter from an old University firend, Clark Triton, and immediately travels to the village of Misthallery.

Emmy travels with the Professor, only to find on arrival, the village to be threatened by a menacing phantom. It is here that the Professor meets his future apprentice Luke Triton.
